Biography


French visual artist currently based in Portugal.

Working in a multidisciplinary approach since 2010, I’m exploring mineral, vegetal and animal cultures and their relations through the use of photography, drawing, painting and the creation of objects.

Graduated from the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris I have developed a multidisciplinary approach questionning the perception of Nature, contemplation, observing and being observed, viewpoints games and then on the particular relation between humans and horses.

Stays abroad, residency programs and teaching experiences have been the base of the construction of this work, which is currently completed by a doctoral research in aesthetic, sciences and technology of arts.

Horse studies

Phd student since 2021 at the university of Paris 8, I examine the visual relations between horses and humans in Portugal in an aesthetic, semiotical and anthropological perspective.

My thesis is entitled : L’œil du centaure, approche esthétique, sémiotique et anthropologique des regards croisés humain-cheval. – The centaur’s eye, aesthetic, semiotical and anthropological approach from the perspectives of horses and humans.


  • Born in 1984 in Paris.
  • since 2021 – Phd under the direction of Pr. Katia Légeret, University Paris 8 Saint-Denis, EDESTA (Laboratory «Scenes of the World, Creation, Critical Knowledge», Doctoral School of Aesthetics, Sciences and Technology of the Arts).
  • 2018-2020 – training course of initiation in ethology and animal cognition at Primate Research Institute, Kyoto University, Japan, Portugal.
  • 2017-2018 – Equestrian art training at Cavalgador. Daily and pluridisciplinary work with horses. Conception and realization of equestrian workshops for children and teenagers.
  • 2016 – Personal exhibition at ‘Maison des Arts’ de Saint-Herblain (44).
  • 2014-2015 – Artistic and mediation residencies, Hendaye (64), Sains du Nord (59).
  • 2010-2016 – Photographic teaching and projects in academic environment.
  • 2010 – Personal exhibition at Yukiko Kawase gallery.
